Ever since his stillborn corpse was miraculously given life by the High Justicar of the Order of the Balanced Scales—a group of holy knights sworn to uphold order and justice all throughout the dangerous lands of Durnia—Xieraine Laedrin was prophesied to be one of the greatest knights of his generation, an Incarnate with powers superior to those of any other warrior of their order. It is a destiny that he is determined to make reality—even if he often questions whether or not it could truly come to pass.
In his first five adventures—The Sea Devil, The Emerald Dragon, The Lost Scion, The Blood Stalker, and The Blight Bringer—Xier will face pirates, dragons, vampires, and more as he works to achieve his destiny. Along the way, he will make enemies and allies, be forced to confront his own inner demons, and, ultimately, learn what it really means to be the hero he so desperately wants to become.
All of it will test him and raise the question: Is he fit for his chosen path, or will his doubts about his destiny and himself be proven correct?
